The WIN 440IP
Series of Telephone Systems are equipped with advanced networking capabilities.
Networking is used to link multiple locations spread over a wide geographic
area. Companies traditionally network telephone systems in order to achieve
cost savings, uniformity between separate locations, and the use of centralized trunking and/or voicemail.
Advanced networking is supported by PRI-ISDN or IP trunks with Q-SIG plus.
Benefits
of Networking the WIN System:
Network
wide station-station dialing
- Allows
any station, within the private network, to make an ICM call to any
other station within the network.
Network
wide call transferring
- Allows
a call to be transferred to any station within the private network.
- Calls
may be announced.
- Calls
will follow station forwarding
Network
wide call routing
- Allows
DIL, DID, Tie and DISA calls to be routed to any station within the
network.
- Stations
may be located anywhere within the system.
- Standard
Ring Assigned lines will not route
Shared
Outgoing Trunk Lines
- Any system
may use the CO lines of any other system within the private network.
- May reduce
Long Distance cost.
- May be
used to centralize trunking at one system to reduce the overall cost
of all PSTN trunking.
Unified
Voicemail
- Allows
for one voicemail system for the entire network.
- Will support
all extension within the network.
- Reduce
cost by having 1 voicemail system, instead of a voicemail at each location.
Messaging
Waiting Indicators at Each Station
- Lights
Message Waiting Lights on any station within the network.

networking is only supported on the 128CT and the 440IP)
